Thank you for keeping in mind, you are buying from an artist (me!) not a company. I work with my husband Kristian from my art studio in Sydney to handle all customer service. We are working hard to bring you beautiful things.

 

RETURNS

Due to working with various print artisans around the world, we are unable to accept returns. Please take care when selecting your art pieces as these bespoke print studios are not set up to handle returns for us.

We can happily replace any damaged or faulty pieces.

 

COMMISSIONS

Commission artworks are made entirely to your personal specifications — your brief, your colours, your vision brought to life by Amanda. As such, commissioned works are exempt from change-of-mind returns and from the EU/UK right of withdrawal described below.

 

DAMAGED PARCELS

If your art arrives damaged in any way please contact us immediately at hello@amandajones.art so we may lodge a claim with our postal service and replace the piece for you.

In order for the claim to be made please get in touch within 3 days of the parcel arriving and include photos of the damaged parcel and art with your order number.

 

FAULTY PRINTS

Fine art printing is a refined art form involving ink calibration, paper stock variations, cutting alignment, bleed settings and hue shifts. If your print is in any way, not 100% perfect, I would love to replace the piece for you. We can do this by contacting hello@amandajones.art with photos of any damage or imperfections.

 

MISSING PARCELS

If your parcel has not arrived within the estimated time provided by your tracking email please get in touch at hello@amandajones.art within 3 days to lodge a missing parcel enquiry.

 

EU & UK RIGHT OF WITHDRAWAL

Notwithstanding the returns policy above, if you are located in a European Union member state or the United Kingdom, the following rights apply and take precedence.

Under the EU Consumer Rights Directive (2011/83/EU), as amended by Directive (EU) 2023/2673, and the UK Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013, you have the right to withdraw from your purchase within 14 days of receiving your order, without giving a reason. This right applies to fine art prints and original artworks. It does not apply to commission artworks, which are made entirely to your personal specifications.

How to exercise your right of withdrawal:

To initiate a withdrawal, please email us at hello@amandajones.art within 14 days of receiving your order with the subject line "Withdrawal — Order #[your order number]", your name, and the item(s) you wish to return. We will acknowledge your request by email, confirming the date and time it was received.

Return shipping:

You are responsible for the cost of returning the item to us. Returns must be sent to our studio in Sydney, Australia — please contact us at hello@amandajones.art for the return address. As we are based in Australia, international return shipping costs are entirely at your expense. We strongly recommend using a tracked and insured shipping service, as we cannot accept responsibility for items lost or damaged in transit on their return journey to us.

Items must be returned in their original, resaleable condition, packaged to a standard at least equivalent to the packaging in which they were received. This means adequately protecting the artwork with appropriate wrapping, rigid backing, and a sturdy outer box — equivalent to the protective packaging used when your order was dispatched to you.

Upon receiving your return, we will assess the condition of the item and photograph it upon arrival. If the item has been damaged in any way during return transit — including any mark, crease, dent, scratch, or other imperfection that affects its resaleable condition — we reserve the right to deduct from your refund an amount equal to the diminished value of the item. Fine art prints and original artworks that are damaged in any way cannot be resold, and in such cases the deduction may equal the full purchase price, resulting in no refund being issued. Packaging your return carefully and using an insured service is therefore strongly in your interest.

Refund:

Where a return is received in its original, undamaged condition, we will process a refund of the original purchase price and original outbound shipping cost within 14 days of receiving the item. Refunds will be issued via your original payment method. The cost of return shipping is not refundable.
