TIME IS MY FRIEND

An invitation to view time as circular, rather than linear. We can see that all things come around again, all patterns are repeating.

As we feel the stretch between our dreams and our current position, who we are and who we are becoming, viewing time as circular looks kindly on our notions of failure and missing out. Loss is lessened. Time falls in our favour, and the need for rush dissolves as we find rhythm. Each curve bringing new colours to our sphere.

'You may feel like you have been left behind but there is always another wave'

Reflecting on the ocean tides, what we see as the water going ‘up’ and ‘down’ is in reality the earth going around and around, tilting the seas to rise and fall during the circular rotation. The same is true with what we see as the ups and downs of life, they are in fact more akin to curves and twists of the circles we are travelling.

We have no trouble viewing seasons in this way. As autumn brings a crisp wind, we don’t wonder if summer will ever return.
